Every person who wants to beautify his life must think of others and work for their happiness. Love and compassion are two important characteristics that make us human.
Volunteering is a person's desire and desire to give his knowledge, experience and experience, the joy in his heart, the compassion and enlightenment in his soul, to other people and all living and non-living beings, and turning them into action. Volunteering is the highest point that a person can reach. Volunteering is to please the hearts, to share the loneliness, to be friendly to the needy, to make the pale faces smile, to alleviate the pain, to make the poor happy. The most important goal of the Gönüllü Hizmet Vakfı is to serve to further develop and spread the feeling of “Volunteering” in our society.
The late Abdullah Öğücü, the late Mustafa Saffet Ciğerli and I were three friends and relatives who set their hearts on volunteering. Late Abdullah Öğücü, a great businessman and philanthropist, graduated from Aysel Abdullah Öğücü Girls' Dormitory in 2003, and the late Mustafa Saffet Ciğerli graduated from Mustafa Saffet Anatolian High School as donations. The fire of being able to do new services was burning in the hearts of all three of us. After long thoughts, we decided to establish the Gönüllü Hizmet Vakfı, which we wish to be the voice of our hearts, in order to continue our passion for service in a corporate structure.
The death of Abdullah Öğücü in 2008 caused great sadness for all of us. My sister Aysel Öğücü took her place. The Volunteer Service Foundation was established in 2010.
Our hope was to be “salt in the soup” to education, culture, art and health and to institutionalize our desire to serve the society.

☑️ the services rendered should be freed from the individual and should be appropriated to the society.
☑️The foundation should be the leader of public institutions with its thought, understanding, knowledge and financial means; the work should be completed with the joint participation of the foundation and the public.
☑️In order to be a leader in more services, the Foundation; should use the financial resources of the foundation or the donor at the minimum level, this rate should not exceed 50% under any circumstances.
☑️The donor's name and wishes should live in the donated work, but the work should be left to the corporate management of the public institution that is served together, without claiming any other rights on the work.
☑️The foundation should set an example for other donors with the works of its founders, and should guide the benefactors who want to leave great and lasting works to the future with its knowledge, prestige and reliability and small opportunities.
☑️The long future of the Foundation should be secured by the founders, and all works and projects dedicated to the society should be kept alive with the interest, support and protection of the Foundation. For this purpose, sustainable, corporate income sources should be created.
☑️Public institutions in all facility and service projects offered by the Voluntary Service Foundation to our nation; Cooperation has been made with the National Education Directorates and municipalities.
☑️As with the facilities donated for the purpose of serving education, culture and the arts, no donations have been received from any person or organization other than the founders of the Foundation, for real estates purchased and partnerships established in order to secure the future of the Foundation and raise funds for new services.
☑️No fee was paid to anyone from the Foundation's budget and no general expenses were incurred in the efforts made to bring the Foundation to what it is today.

☑️Our Foundation Management takes care of the two works donated by our foundation founders before the establishment of the Gönüllü Hizmet Vakfı, and provides the necessary support and services.
